Welcome to version 3 of my ETH supply breakdown project. I’m ETH Wave, and I’m working on visualising all things Ethereum in particular, the decentralised distribution of Ether focusing on wallet categorisation at scale. As this project is still a work in progress, your feedback is invaluable.
This visualization is programmed to evolve – for example if a L2 is added to L2beat it will be reflected in the diagram likewise if hildobby tags more CEX addresses then they will be included.
Please provide any feedback or suggestions on social media. In one week’s time, I will collate all feedback and merge it with previous suggestions that I have yet to act upon. I want this project to be as community-driven as possible, so I truly value your input.
With the current data I have, I plan on creating further visualisations and deep dives into various categories. Keep an eye out for new tabs on the website and announcements on social media.
For the first week, the data will update every 24 hours. After that, the frequency of updates will depend on community interest and funding. Even without additional funding, I should still be able to update the data weekly.
In future versions, I plan to explore many areas, including but not limited to:
- DeFi
- DAOs
- Prediction markets
- Smart wallets
- Gaming
- NFTs
- Hacks
I also plan to improve upon the current categories. To do this properly, I’ll need access to more data, which will likely require a Dune Plus account. This account will allow me to access the data I need and will allow for more advanced queries to be ran at regular intervals.
